Sony – New Firmware Release for 6 Lenses!

Sony have released firmware for 6 of their lenses which should improve AF performance.
I personally own 3 out of the 6 lenses and will be updating the firmware to see if there is a noticeable difference.
AF on mirrorless, at this stage, is a given that it won’t be as fast as any of the latest DSLR’s, but for me the Sony A7R II with the Sony FE lenses I own are not too bad. The lens I am currently struggling most with AF speed is the Sony 85mm f/1.4 GM but that doesn’t appear to have been updated.
My most used lens at the moment is the Sony 85mm f/1.4 GM and Sony 35mm F/1.4. I will definitely report back with the Sony 35mm F/1.4.
